Zenfone 3 was recently released with 5 variants, with the most premium being ZenFone 3 Deluxe. The phone debuts lots of world firsts. It is the first smartphone with an aluminum alloy unibody featuring an invisible-antenna design. Inside, ZenFone 3 Deluxe is the world’s first smartphone to use the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 821 processor which is paired with an Adreno™ 530 GPU.
Storage-wise, it is the world’s first phone to offer a massive 6GB of RAM combined with 256GB of UFS 2.0 memory. It raises the bar for mobile photography with world’s first smartphone to use Sony’s latest IMX318 sensor with its world’s highest 23-megapixel resolution for a smartphone. It’s combined with another specs rarity: 6GB of RAM.
Just as a benchmark, the iPhone 7, which was recently announced, would only have 3GB of RAM. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe also has a spacious 5.7-inch screen that competes with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in size. Even more relevant, Its large Super AMOLED panel takes on a 79% screen-to-body ratio. That means less bezel on the sides and more screen space to work with. The capacitive buttons on the bottom do eat into significant screen space.
With this much specifications, this gadget is definitely to look out for. It is far superior than Apple’s iPhones product and of course its other contenders, although further benchmarking needs to be done.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe has yet to be officially sold in Indonesia, but expect this new line to come in your nearest stores very soon!
