The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta held a breakfasting event in collaborations with the Association of Indonesian Musik Director (AMDI) and fully supported by Ikatan Alumni SMU 37 batch 96 which under U FM 94.7 Radio mom’s community. This event attended by representatives of Indobuildco, Singgasana Hotels & Resorts -owning company and management company of The Sultan Hotel & Residences respectively, guests of the Hotel & Hotel Residence, Media, Hotel team members, Clients as well as 200 orphan children from Yayasan Penyantun Yatim Piatu Petamburan (YPYPP) in the spirit of sharing the joy of Ramadhan.
This auspicious event took place at Lagoon Garden, the event also introducing hotel facilities to the orphans, therefore once they arrived, they did a complete Hotel tour first-including being among the first people to see the Hotels new “Golden Ballroom”- scheduled to open mid July 2018 , after that they attended spiritual lectures prior to the breakfast. During the breakfast there were readings from the Holy Qur’an and performances from special three Indonesian soloist Cakra Khan, Sandy Canester and the newcomer, Rizky Febrian. They performed for over 40 minutes singing their own famous songs combined with religious songs. Not only was the performance a highlight but the Hotels Chefs had produced an array of traditional Middle Eastern, Western and Indonesian food such as Nasi Briyani, Kambing Guling, Opor Ayam and also various of desserts and of course sweet ta’jil before dinner.
Donation for the orphans was goodie bags consisting of savings, school stationary and praying attire and were presented after praying and dinner by representatives of the owning and management company and Management of the Hotel, respresentative donature from Ikatan Alumni SMU 37 batch 96 mom’s community, respresentative U FM 94.7 Radio and respresentative Association of Indonesian Musik Director (AMDI).
The event is part of hotel’s effort to give back to the community and a heartfelt effort to give happiness to the invited orphans during the Holy month.
