Raffles Jakarta is proud to introduce its new Executive Chef, Daniel Patterson. Daniel brings with him over 18 years of culinary experience to Raffles Jakarta and he will oversee the culinary creations in Arts Café, The Writers Bar, Navina Pool Bar, the Dian Ballroom, meeting rooms and in-room dining.
Chef Daniel Patterson is originally from Newmarket, United Kingdom and joined the hotel from Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, Bangkok, Thailand where he was the Executive Chef. Prior to that, he was the executive chef in a number of five star hotels including Shangri-La and Hyatt.
Chef Daniel has a bright and positive outlook on life, and the same can be found in his culinary creations. His food is is vibrant and colorful, both Western and Asian dishes presented in delicate and tasteful ways originating from his vast international experience and an array of cooking techniques.
Chef Daniel likes to combine local produce and different flavors to create healthy dishes that surprise our guests. Watch him in action daily at the Arts Café on level 1 at Raffles Jakarta.
