Supporting the fashion industry yet again, Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week (PIMFW) is going to showcase a total of 19 designers and international brands. PIMFW will be held for four days from 24 – 28 September 2018 at Plaza Indonesia, The Warehouse, Level 5.
Some collaborations will make the 9th PIMFW very special this year. One of them is an international collaboration between Alleira Batik from Indonesia and Michael Ong from Malaysia. What’s more, Diesel is going to have its first show that happens outside Milan! But it’s only a tip of an iceberg!
Other designers and brands who will be at PIMFW 2018 are Parang Kencana, Bateeq, Mark & Spencer, Canali, Patrick Owen, Rococo The Men’s Store, Antony Morato, (X)S.M.L x Mario Ginanjar, Ted Baker, Project x Rigio, AMOTSYAMSURIMUDA, Rama Dauhan, Ray Alan, ALLTHETHINGSIVEDONE, No’om No’mi, and Danjyo Hiyoji.
Each label will bring out at least 30 looks to be showcased at the event. Most will have an urban concept that will be in the Fall/Winter 2018 collection. To make it even more exciting, Plaza Indonesia is going to use a seamless LED runway that goes to 19 meters long!
Just like the past eight years, PIMFW has also prepared a curated show on the last day of the festival. This year the theme is “Denim Culture” and supported by Lee Cooper. This theme is a challenge for labels to innovate through denim. There will be a lot of innovation and new ideas that are simply inspirational. For this show, Lee Cooper supports the designers by giving out its recycle denim as the main fabric for all the shows.
Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2018 is also supported by The Body Shop to provide make-up artists and their products, and Tony & Guy for hair trend. The team will create different looks and moods according to each label.
During the festival, Plaza Indonesia also has several offers that you can get by showing the invitation or wristband from PIMFW 2018. They can get special treats from F&B outlets inside the mall. The outlets are Bistro Baron, Godiva, Khung, Mother Monster, Shabu Shabu House, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Kitchenette, Seven Friday, Kafe Betawi, Ta Wan, Immigrant, Chopstix, and Nam Nam Noodle Bar. Not only that, Plaza Indonesia has also added a bazaar called The Boy’s Playground. The Bazaar is going to showcase several local brands at atrium level four from 22 – 30 September 2018.
