Plataran just recently revamped their menu by elegantly combining timeless Indonesian artistry with modern flair and innovation. The new menu will include both the classic and the all-time favorite dishes from Indonesia.
Situated in the elite residential neighborhood Kebayoran Baru, Plataran Dharmawangsa invited the media to a three-course feast of authentic Indonesian dining. The rich heritage of the interior of the restaurant perfectly complemented the experience.
The intimate gathering started with sumptuous appetizers of salad ayam demila, udang nagih and soto komponi. After that, the banquet continued through a decadent main course consisting of classically raised beef tenderloin, beef rending fried rice, and gourami fried in okra with pineapple and paprika. For the dessert, guests were served with filo pastry with banana, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, known as piscok goreng.
Plataran continually strives to develop menus that push the boundaries of creativity in the kitchen. Therefore, dishes are regularly updated and reinvigorated with new perspectives on classic recipes.
