Kicking off a new CSR this year 25 of Marriott International properties which includes; The Westin Jakarta, JW Marriott Jakarta, Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place, Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan, Keraton at The Plaza, The Hermitage Jakarta, Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, Le Meridien Jakarta, Marriott Executive Apartments – Mayflower, Four Points by Sheraton Jakarta, among others, joined forces to raise awareness for education by donating 1,800 books for the Mobile Library Programme by Yayasan Emmanuel.
Through their Serve The World core values, Marriott International realizes its duty on how it does business, support the local communities and work to protect the environment. It is the company’s aim to share the progress and looking forward to a sustainable future through books.
Yayasan Emmanuel, which was established in 2007 helped pushed the initiative forward through their Mobile Library Programme which has donated over 6,200 books which is provided to children throughout the Bogor area and Jakarta with trucks. A symbolic ceremony event which was held on October 11th at The Four Points Jakarta lets the audience know of the brand’s CSR programme and how to make things better for the community and the people of Jakarta.
