With the theme ‘Vertical Horizon’, the 2015 ICAD is featuring 30 most avant garde artists from various generations and backgrounds. All the artworks have gone through strenuous curating process, and in line with ICAD’s concept, the artists are presented around the grandkemang Hotel’s public area. This is truly a party celebrating power of creativity and expressions, presented by Arturo Insanido and Yayasan Design + Art Indonesia, and fully supported by grandkemang Hotel.

Another exhibition that is a little bit different from the previous year is the exhibition of rattan furniture created by 14 young designers from Denmark that are doing a residential project in Cirebon, Indonesia. This ICAD is also the first one that welcomed a special visit from Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, who came to Indonesia for the first time.

All exhibition in ICAD is free for the public to see, and is hoped to stimulate people’s creativity and view of design, art, and culture as part of the human lives. Not just as an aesthetical element, but also an aspect to enhance the quality of life.

ICAD 2015 is currently on display until 30 November 2015 at grandkemang hotel, Jl. Kemang Raya 2H, Jakarta Selatan. For five weeks, in addition to the art exhibition, visitors can take part in conventions, talk shows, and film shows.
