If you want to try one ASAP, The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place is set to create their second exceptional gastronomical event together with illycaffè and PT. Bahana Genta Viktory by presenting the experience of illy coffee paired with executive chef Sean Macdougall’s menu in at Pacific Restaurant and Lounge this Thursday, 3rd November 2016.
The different single origin coffees will not only be consumed as a beverage like espresso, but also used as an ingredient, blended with your food.
Master Barista Fabrizio Aquè, an Illycaffe designated Artisti del Gusto or “Artist of Taste” will guide the guest during this remarkable five course dinner at Pacific Restaurant to decrypt and recognize the coffee flavors within five courses meal.
Your meal will starti with the antipasti of Cocoa cured beef, sesame toast, green pea emulsion, coffee oil paired with Classic Frappè (pictured above).
The set continues with Duck confit, coffee pasta, celery olive caponata paired with an option of Vodka espresso or shakerato, which will be followed by coffee-barbecued beef short ribs, jalapeno adobo sauce, carrot flan paired with Espresso freddo greco or Cointreau shakerato.
Last but not least, the amazing dessert of Milk and dark chocolate duo, sesame feuilletine, black olive cremeux, macchiato sauce, is probably one of the best possible dessert combo paired with a shot of strong espresso.
The dinner will set you back around Rp 680,000++ per person, a bargain compared to similar setting with wine, though with just as deep of culinary experience and excitement!
