What is the F&B Masters 2015?

The F&B Masters is an internal competition that discovers and celebrates the extraordinary F&B talent within Hilton Worldwide properties across Asia Pacific. It is about people development and gives team members an opportunity to develop their skills and creativity in a variety of food and beverage disciplines that they are passionate about. Hilton Worldwide’s commitment to career development for team members does not end after the competition. Hotel team members at every level are given access to a world of opportunities to develop personally and professionally through on-the-job training, virtual courses, management development programs, and learning seminars.

Number of hotels taking part: Total of over 100. 40 hotels are from SEA and India, the remaining hotels are from Australasia, Japan, Korea, and the Greater China and Mongolia regions.

Number of participants: There will be approximately 700 participants in SEA & India taking part.

Categories: The F&B Masters will be held across five disciplines:

  • Bar Cup
  • Culinary Cup
  • Barista Cup
  • Sommelier Cup
  • Pastry Cup

Competition structure: The F&B Masters will consist of three rounds of competition. The first will be held at the hotel level where finalists will be selected in each of the five categories. These people will move onto the country level where they will compete against the five finalists from each of the other properties in their respective country. From this, the five finalists from each country will then take part in the regional finals.

Period of competition: The F&B Masters will begin in July 2015 and culminate in the regional finals in February 2016.

  • Culinary Cup : Ahmad Nurseha
    Starter = Grill Braid Chicken with Green Garden Salad

Main Course = Rolled slice beef sirloin with gorgonzola sauce served with potato skin & buttered vegetables

  • Pastry Cup : Marinah
    Chocolate Creation = Volcano de Choco

Your own creation = Inalicious Temptation

  • Bar Cup : Dendi S. Nugraha
    Cocktail Creation = Teh Kinanti
  • Barista Cup : Firmansyah Rizki Novan
    Coffee Creation = Summer Berry Coffee
  • Sommelier Cup : Evan Irianov Purba
