After roughly a month long refurbishment, The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan hotel reopened their Asia Restaurant last month with a completely different look and also food options. This buffet restaurant now has more modern look to its interior. With stylish leather round seats, floor to ceiling partitions, and comfier seats, the new Asia promises more intimate spaces for private events or casual celebrations.
Apart from keeping the all-time favorites like Hainan Chicken Rice, signature Sushi & Sashimis as well as the local delicacies such as Bakso and Batagor, new innovative food varieties are added to the renowned buffet counters.
We love the traditional open kitchen selection, with their noodles selection or the over the pan griddle options that let you pick your favorite food to be cooked on the spot by the chefs, including the nasi goreng which is a favorite.
Another thing that’s new is the giant parmesan cheese wheel on the salad selection that is used to mix your salad for maximum cheesy punch.
What used to be the cake shop, is now Asia’s dessert’s selection table with a wide variety of delicious petit fours, ice cream, rujak, and delicious cakes including a creative rendition of the beloved Indonesian desserts ‘cendol’ cake.
The new Asia Restaurant can fit 292 persons and is open seven (7) days a week from 6 AM – 10.30 PM, serving Breakfast, Lunch, Weekend Brunch and Dinner.
Popular for its buffet dining, Lunch is offered at IDR 318,000 ++ person while Dinner starts from IDR 348,000 ++ per person.
