Since opening its doors one year ago, NamNam Noodle Bar has just launched its new and refreshed menu at the end of this month, offering a wider variety of Vietnamese cuisine.
Famed for its banh mi, French-inspired Viet stuffed baguettes; NamNam introduced four new flavours to its list of sandwiches– Marinated Australian Wagyu Beef with braised mushrooms; Chili-lemongrass chicken with egg omelette and chicken floss; the Chili sambal braised Australian beef and Spicy curry chicken with tempe.
Fans of NamNam’s variety of Vietnamese noodles will want to try Spicy Hue Australian beef noodle or b.n b. Huế – a time-honoured dish originated from the city of Hue in central Vietnam that packs a spicy broth; and a rendition of the classic b.n thịt nướng chả gi. (rice vermicelli with grilled meats and fried spring roll) – Dry sautéed Australian wagyu beef noodle with fried imperial roll. The Spicy braised Australian beef with beef balls noodles is bound to be a hit with its robust flavours of chili sambal, while the Chicken bamboo shoot egg noodle with mushrooms features a generous portion of chicken leg with bamboo shoots and mushrooms, using springy egg noodles instead of vermicelli, giving the dish an added texture.
The noodle odyssey continues with NamNam’s signature pho selection. The Pho Australian oxtail and beef balls is inspired by the “sop buntut” and will no doubt be a top favourite. Vegetarians will be pleased the Vegetarian pho with tofu, tomatoes, leafy vegetables and bean sprouts, simmered in vegetable broth.
Perfect for sharing, NamNam now offers more variety of small plates specialties. The refreshing Green papaya salad with tempeh and beef jerky and Tangy Mango Salad with prawns and chicken make great appetisers, while other crispy bites include the Mekong prawn rolls and new recipes of Crispy chicken wings with shrimp paste, Crispy seafood wontons and Crispy squid – both served with sriracha mayonnaise.
To accompany the meal, a new selection of homemade refreshing iced teas including Lychee-pandan iced tea, Orange-mint iced tea, and Lemongrass-ginger iced tea are perfect thirst quenchers. The new Hanoi Hannah sundae with mint chocolate and vanilla ice cream, and Saigon Sally sundae with dark chocolate and vanilla ice cream completes the meal on a sweet note.
Ultimate dining deals are available on weekdays. The weekday Value Lunch Set includes Crispy Fried Wanton, a choice of Chicken or Beef balls Pho, and a drink for only IDR 95,000. Take an afternoon break with the daily Viet Teatime Set that includes a drink with an option of any banh mi for IDR 60,000 or a dessert for IDR 50,000.
