In celebrating International Coffee Day 2017, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta held an coffee workshop with Opal Coffee last week, Sunday, 1 October 2017.
Opal Coffee invited all coffee lovers to get to know the process of making coffee, the history of coffee, and how to draw a latte art. The presentation on the day was insightful and easy to follow. Moreover, participants were able to taste the coffee directly, even joined an art latte competition.
Also joining the event is Coffee Tambling, an organic coffee brand from Tambing area that were produced by local farmers. All profits from the sales will go to Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation in Sumatera to protect the wild animals, especially the tigers.
Through all the presentation and fun workshop, participants were able to appreciate the complexity of coffee and see its huge potential in Indonesia. What a great way to celebrate International Coffee Day.
