Bon Jovi’s Spectacular Tribute To 40,000 Indonesian Fans 

After a 20 year long wait, Bon Jovi’s 40,000 fans in Indonesia finally got to experience the rock legend in Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta, 11 September 2015, as part of the band’s Bon Jovi Live! in Asia tour. Bon Jovi’s first appearance in Indonesia was in 1995, where the band held a concert in Ancol, South Jakarta.

Front man Jon Bon Jovi entertained one of the largest concert crowds in Indonesia for two hours with his hit songs such as Living on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name, and It’s My Life.

The concert was opened by a YouTube cover artist, Sam Tsui and Indonesian artist Yudika, who sang the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya.

Bon Jovi made the Jakarta concert as their first city for their Asian tour, followed with Shanghai, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Seoul, Macau, Taipei, Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv.
