Formerly known as a hotel management company that focusing on art inspired design hotels, officially on September 4th, 2017 ARTOTEL Indonesia is declaring its transformation and business expansion into ARTOTEL Group, a company with its integrated three businesses lines on Hospitality, Event Management, and Curated Merchandise.
In 2011, ARTOTEL Indonesia was founded with a tremendous passion in promoting local art to our hotel guests, now with ARTOTEL Group, the company is expanding its responsibilities to be the pioneer in promoting local creative community to the world.
Here are some new business lines from ARTOTEL Group:
ARTOTEL Group has created some new brands in Hospitality industry which cater Hotels and F&B industry for resort ambience of beach club, targeting all market segment from budget to luxury preference, national and international market.
ARTOTEL is a collection of ART inspired design hotels featuring original artwork by talented Indonesian contemporary ARTISTS. The first ARTOTEL was at Surabaya in 2012 and later on the development continues to Jakarta and Bali. ARTOTEL is known for having integrated artworks by local emerging artists in every inch of the hotel and an ARTSPACE, a rotation gallery that is showcasing local artists for free.
2017 : Yogyakarta & Ubud – Bali.
2018 : Semarang, Jakarta (Daan – Mogot, Kota Tua), Bandung, and Lombok.
Bobotel is a new brand for budget hotel targeting the mass market and will be situated in both prime & secondary cities of Indonesia. With 15 meter square room, Bobotel is taking room efficiency to a whole new level without forgetting the crucial part, a good quality of sleep. Bobotel will be attached to the commercial spaces like Mall, Airport, big Train Station, and Office Building; and, therefore, is the right choice to spend the night in an economic way with no F&B consumptions.

- Curated Collection
Curated Collection is a boutique hotel concept with five stars quality. From the concept, service, and facilities, Curated is suitable for niche market thirsting for a sense of luxury during their staycation. Curated Collection is also the right alternative for those Investors who want to build their own brand but operated ARTOTEL ways.

- ARTOTEL Beach Club
Call it ABC, an easier way to call ARTOTEL Beach Club, a business unit in F&B managed by ARTOTEL Group. The first ABC will be opened end of 2017, located on Jalan Danau Tamblingan no. 35, Sanur – Bali. ABC will be the playground for local cuisine delicacies and also a hub for locals and internationals to relax and enjoy laid-back atmosphere of Sanur beach. Family friendly is another unique selling point that ABC has to offer.

ü Event Management
In-line with its vision and mission, ARTOTEL Indonesia always put creativity and art as soul of its business, therefore, the company has such a good relationship to these creative communities. With the transformation of ARTOTEL Group, one of the new business line to be announced is the event management, named ARTOTEL Project Series (APS).
Through APS, ARTOTEL Group offers consultation service to the public for organizing event, such as Art Exhibitions, Art Events, and any other Art related workshop. Aside from art, APS also caters any consultation to business players who want to collaborate with local artists by merging their works with their business lines or even private properties.
Currently, APS has been running some internal programs at ARTOTEL properties, such as:
- Scouting emerging artists for ARTOTEL properties in Surabaya, Jakarta, and Bali, as well as the upcoming ARTOTEL properties in Yogyakarta and Ubud – Bali.
- Art Exhibitions that were held regularly at ARTSPACE of ARTOTEL premises.
- Workshop project called ARTOTEL Tribe Series which is held monthly in every unit of ARTOTEL. In this project we conduct workshops related to Art, Creativity, and Communities.
ü Curated Merchandise
As for curated merchandise, ARTOTEL Group presents ART OF LIFE, a collection of urban and hip merchandise line featuring original artworks from emerging Indonesian contemporary artists. Launched in May 2016, now AOL has its official website to reach its market nationally and internationally and also has a dedicated booth in every unit of ARTOTEL showcasing its collections. Aside from producing merchandise, this business line opens opportunities to local artists and craftsmen to sell their works by consignation system through official AOL website,www.aolbyartotel.com.
