3. Convivium Deli
Convivium was one of Jakarta’s best kept secret for comfort home-cooked italian meals, and also cakes and pastries (including their famous red velvet cake). After they closed last year, they reopened to a new place just few hundreds yards away to a bigger and cozier place which will make you want to spend hours over coffee and a chocolate croissant. Tips: Get their their baked goods half off after 7pm!
4. El Machote
El Machote is when the best of Southwest BBQ and South American grilling collides. Other than the Texas style melt-in-your-mouth barbecue, From USA beef briskets, ribs, pork baby back ribs to suckling pigs, they also offer the South American art of open parilla grill, where premium cuts of meats are made to order.

If you’re around Wolter Monginsidi street, stop over to this new coffee shop/coworking space to try their nutella donuts with its overflowing filling. Enjoy it with their freshly roasted specialty coffee. Great place for working too, if you can stay away from the donuts!
